A Tropical Dog with a Sensitive Stomach
When Bonita — a rescue from Puerto Rico — came into our lives at 8 months old, she brought her island spirit, a love for tropical fruit, and a stomach that couldn't keep up. What we thought was normal puppy vomiting turned into a pattern: once every two to three weeks, like clockwork.
After a full year of experimenting with diet, we cracked the code. A hydrolyzed protein diet paired with gut-healing supplements — hemp seeds, spirulina, and other proven additives — completely eliminated the vomiting. Bo was finally thriving.
Today, Bo is 9 years old with the energy of a puppy. She's a talker, an adventurer who's crossed the country multiple times, a fan of the beach (but not the water), and she keeps us honest with two long walks a day. She devours tropical fruit like the island dog she is.
